Type Of Magazine
Today I have been thinking about what kind of magazine I want to produce. I am going to produce an asian magazine. The reason for this is because I read more asian magazines than I do english therefore I will think it is better if I produced an asian magazine rather than an english one. To get some ideas I researched some asian magazines:

I really like these kind of magazines because they have so many vibrant colours within them and If I saw these magazines in the shop I would definetley buy them or atleast show some interest in them. However my magazine is aimed at teenage girls from 16-19 therefore I should have younger models on the front of my cover and my subheadings should be very appealing and relevant for my young teenage audience.

Colours
Today I have mainly focused on what colours should be used on the cover of my magazine. I was thinking about using colours like mocha, cream, gold, white, yellow, orange, black. The reason why I want to use these kind of colours is because my magazine is aimed at girls from 16-19 who are more older girls.

Researching magazines
I went on to google and I looked up some magazine covers to get a few ideas on how to make my magazine cover. Here are a few examples of the magazine covers I reasearched on. I also found these magazine covers to be very interesting.

Looking at the different types of magazines I have been thinking about the following things:
The layout of my magazine, The type of magazine e.g sports, fashion, games etc. Also the name of my magazine, the different colours I am going to use to make my magazine cover. I will also have to think about who I want on my magazine cover, the gender and age my magazine is aimed at and all the different subheadings.
One thing I have decided is that my magazine will be aimed at teenage girls from ages 16-19. The reason I have decided to aim my magazine at young teenage girls is because there are more girls that read the magazines than boys therefore my magazine subheadings will be about makeover tips, fashion ideas, celebrity hot gossip, exclusive interviews, whats hot and whats not and etc.
As well as making a magazine cover I will also need to make a double page spread. For my double page spread I am thinking about writing an interview about a famous celebrity. However I also need to think about who I am going to interview and what type of questions I am going to ask. I will also have to think about the layout, design, colour and a title for the interview.
